Why Claim Analysis Group Exists

Every company begins with an observation. CAG began with a question.

After years working across claims, SIU, and corporate compliance, one reality became clear:

Insurance professionals are highly skilled, deeply experienced, and committed to making fair, well‑supported decisions. Every day they balance customer service, regulatory expectations, operational demands, and investigative responsibilities in an increasingly complex environment.

But some claims require more than a routine review.

Most claims can be resolved efficiently. Others present fraud indicators, documentation concerns, conflicting information, or unresolved questions that call for a more disciplined analytical approach. These files may not warrant a full investigation, yet they benefit from careful evidence verification, structured reasoning, and objective documentation before critical decisions are made.

CAG was founded to meet that need.

We provide independent investigative analysis that helps organizations evaluate evidence more thoroughly, clarify inconsistencies, and strengthen the documentation supporting claim decisions.
Our role is not to determine coverage or replace existing claims professionals.
Our role is to provide an independent analytical perspective that supports confident, defensible decision‑making.

We believe the strongest claim decisions are built on evidence, not assumptions.

How We Fit Within the Claims Process

Claim Analysis Group complements existing claims and SIU operations.

We do not replace adjusters.
We do not replace SIU.
We do not make coverage decisions.

Instead, we provide independent investigative analysis when claims present fraud indicators, documentation concerns, inconsistencies, or unresolved questions that benefit from structured review.

Our work is designed to strengthen—not disrupt—existing workflows by delivering clear, objective investigative findings that can be incorporated into the claim file and used to support coverage, litigation, settlement, or regulatory decision‑making

Our Investigative Principles

Every analysis we perform is guided by consistent principles:

• Evaluate evidence collectively
• Verify information whenever possible
• Apply human judgment to context
• Support conclusions with documented reasoning
• Prioritize objectivity over assumption
• Strengthen claim defensibility through independent analysis
• Ensure every claim decision is supported by evidence

These principles shape every report we produce and every recommendation we provide.

Looking Ahead

Insurance continues to evolve.
Claims grow more complex.
Documentation becomes easier to manipulate.
Technology advances and so do the methods used to create misleading or fabricated information.

While investigative tools will continue to improve, meaningful claim decisions will always depend on disciplined analysis, thoughtful reasoning, and professional judgment.

Our Philosophy

The investigation is not about proving that every individual document is authentic.
It is about determining whether the available evidence — evaluated collectively — supports the claim being made.

That distinction is at the heart of every analysis we perform
